Errgh...I have to RUSH over to the con then... *gets out of school at like...1:40ish I think on Fridays, but I still need to drop all my stuff off at my friend's house (once I figure out who I'm staying with......ooor I drop my stuff off at her house beforehand....) and then bus to the con wearing my dress and with another cosplay in my bag, plus my sketchbook, wallet, etc....* Isn't that Friday a Pro-D day for you guys? Also, Elsa's part doesn't seem to be included in that presentation. XDD Aaaapparently it is *checked* So that's good, I won't have to rush then (sorry I'm not signed in, I'm in my school library.)

here is Elsa's part
Ero Lolita: Ero Lolita means "erotic lolita," and is one of the most difficult lolita styles to portray. Ero lolita pushes the boundaries of the style, edging away from the modesty and girliness seen elsewhere in the scene. Skirts are shorter; leather, collars, and corsets may be worn. Makeup, too, may be more mature. Ero lolita is one of the few lolita styles for which fishnets may be appropriate

I'll expand the bit on Elsa's part when I get a chance.. Tuesday maybe when I procrastinate from studying. I'll see everyone tomorrow. Hoping that I won't lose my voice completely.

So, apparently I'm your sound guy. I like the sound of that. It's music to my ears. Anyway, I'll set the playlist up in iTunes next time, since I'm more familiar with it. Either way, it should turn out quite well.

So, ARE we going with that...one song that I can't remember the name of right now, for me?
(just in case I find a song I like more)

Yeah Caitlin, sorry we're scraping the song you wanted (it's nothing personal) To quote Brock "the song is cute and it works for the style but I dont' think it works for 'this' model... the song plays to her weaknesses rather than her strengths"
You actually look much much more 'lively' and confident with Back in Black and it's a classic rock song.
On another note, Adam has approved the dry run date, there is no club that week and after discussing some with Adrian we have a tentative order here:
sweet gothic punk ero kuro shiro sailor classic country hime wa guro aristo cosplay
we definitely want cosplay last because Kyle is an amazing way to finish off the show since it's pretty much a 'parody' of the style. I thought the most recognizable styles first would be best and I want Caitlin to go first because she's very cute and amazing and the most popular type of lolita is sweet...
I wanted country to follow classic because they are close styles and I like the ode of guro (broken doll) aristo, cosplay... guro and aristo seem to mesh well in my head for some reason and I like that aristo is right before cosplay since it seems to contrast the most with cosplay.

You actually look much much more 'lively' and confident with Back in Black and it's a classic rock song.. True. Even if you're not a rock fan, just try and flow with it. It's a song that has plenty of energy, and emphasizes strength in a character, rather than innocence. Basically you just have to go out there and be ready to challenge the world. That moment is your moment. For that brief minute, that entire theatre is yours and all you have to do is strut in there and show them that. Make the most of it, and enjoy it. Just have fun. "Back in Black" seems like the perfect song to do that with, to me anyway.

Sorry to be a pain, and not entirely sure if the beat on this one works but another classic rock piece that could work would be Paint it Black and honestly, there's even a Vanessa Carlton cover (blegh) if you absolutely HATE Back in Black, and it's also fairly strong and thematic.

Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones? I know the song, but personally, it seems rather hard to picture her doing her walk to it.

*pops into the convo* Never said I hated the song, I was just wondering IF there was another song I found that I liked, if I could use it.
I think I'm going with Back in Black though, it works well. *WILL WORK ON MY CONFIDENCE LEVELS XD*
